Zodiac Hurricane 640 - Project rib
If you know about commercial ribs this is one of the ultimate ribs. Heavy weather go anywhere, designed to be launched into heavy seas from a ship, in this case the US Coastguard. Volvo KAD32 Diesel engine, self righting frame - a real one not imitation complete with inflation device. Navtex, radios, chart plotter etc. Aluminium edged console to prevent damage when ship launched. Full 4 point deployment with a 4 point deck to single point crane attachment system. Huge built in fuel tank. Removable tubes - will float without. Not for the faint hearted, needs rescuing, no joke so if you are looking for a worthwhile project this is it.
