Considering selling this highly unusual RIB (to get something slightly bigger), its the uniquely designed catamaran hull with electric bow-ramp between.
Its an amazing boat, perfect for beach landing as it was designed as a tender to a large yacht. The 150HP is more than enough power, cruises at 18kn with a top speed of 40kn. Really stable on the water both at rest and at all speeds, easy to trim.
Currently configured for up to 5/6 passengers, with the addition of the very smart Wolf Rock bench seat that folds up to the bolster position.
Very much a ready to go boat, the engine starts and runs fine and has recently had a minor service inc plugs, stat, oils, etc. But there is a timing issue that is probably the pulser coil, either way this is not the reason for the sale as the boat is in regular use as is.
Bad bits:
Front seat needs cushions
Engine needs a service and work on the tilt pump as well as minor timing issue
No nav lights (old ones included)
Port tube has a slow leak
Good bits:
Garmin Echopmap linked to the engine via NMEA2000 and VHF
Standard Horizon VHF (an extra one in need of mic repair included)
Three auto bilge pumps
Twin 50L fuel tanks with Yammy fuel filter water separator
Two anchors, loads of lines, boathook etc
The bow ramp and small draft are the big selling points of this boat. If you need something that can get in tight and drop off people or gear to a beach then it is perfect, the ramp seems like a gimmick but its actually so useful in practice!
RIB is on the water in the centre of Plymouth, viewing is highly recommended and any inspection is welcome.
