Offered for sale is a 2002 Zodiac Hurricane 733 RIB, a proven commercial-grade, military-spec inflatable powered by twin Yamaha 150 HP four-stroke outboards. This vessel is currently in active service with BayVoyager.com, operating high-speed adventure sightseeing tours out of Pier 39, where it has been extremely popular with both passengers and crew... but we need a bigger boat.
The boat operates weekly from February through October and is either dry-stored during the winter or run approximately every other week when weather permits. It is professionally maintained by Protector Boat Services in Richmond Ca. , fast, stable, and exceptionally fun to operate. Prior to its current tour service, the boat was privately owned and used as a dive vessel in Southern California, and before that was built to U.S. Navy specifications.
The Hurricane 733 measures 23 feet in length with a 9-foot beam and features a deep-V fiberglass hull with an inflatable collar. Power is provided by twin Yamaha 150 HP four-stroke outboards fed by an 80-gallon fuel tank.
Recent work includes replacement of the port engine in July 2025 with a lower-hour identical engine fitted with a new lower unit, full servicing of both engines in July 2025, installation of new bilge pumps, and fresh half bottom paint completed in November 2025. All recent service work was performed by Protector Boats in Richmond, California.
The seating and layout are highly versatile. The rear bench seat folds flat into a bed or sun pad and can also seat up to three comfortably. Two bench seats behind the helm provide a six-pack style configuration, and the boat seats five passengers easily. A canopy with netted top seating is installed, and the canopy opens to allow a sixth person to sit safely up top, even at speed.
This is a proven commercial tour platform with former military and dive-boat pedigree. It is extremely stable, fast, and confidence-inspiring, making it well suited for commercial tours, patrol use, dive operations, or high-performance recreational boating.
The vessel is located at Pier 39 in San Francisco. Inspections are welcome by appointment.
