where is the best place to get battery cable the very flexable type to come from outboard mines naff was going to add some welding cable to it but found the possative wire is black to within inches of outboard

Yep, buy a pair of jump leads from Machine Mart. The big heavy ones are about 23kwid.

ideally your cable should be marine spec. ring round the electrical wholesalers in your area and ask them if they sell Marine spec cable!

failing that give Vittesse in Fareham or Aquafax at Hamble a call and get some Mail order
