...the chap on here that was making an underwater diving 'wing' to be towed behind a rib?

Did it work, or is he wrapped around a lobster pot somewhere?

Just curious!

That was Stoo. Somewhere up in Canada. Haven't heard from him for a while.

ha ha we tried that with a snorkel and a 50ft rope heading toward berry head at 15 knots.. didn't see much but great fun.. What you is a giant lemonade bottle with ballast and get innit!

Hugh; Stoo was doing his wing thing in the Great Lakes (with his now-ex-wife piloting, as I recall), looking at finding wrecks to dive. AFAIK, there aren't any lobsters in the Great Lakes, so he's likely not wrapped around one of them.

I gave you his name in case you wanted to look up his posts. Can't really do much more than that.
