I didn't realise Waverley was bought for only £1 fifty years ago, obviously the refurbishing costs were a little bit more than that!

I've seen Waverley as far north as Isle of Skye and as far south as the Isle of Wight. If you've never seen her she is a wonderful sight especially from a sib or rib.

Unfortunately she's having a bad day today. Currently hightailing it for the shelter of Liverpool having aborted the planned cruises from Llandudno.

I'm not surprised, it's a bit breezy in the north west today!

In fact it was 6.2 miles. I measured it from her AIS position. The moored boats in the foreground are 2.5 miles away and the container ship in the background is about 15 miles away.
