Watch out ducky

http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm...=news.quirkies

This a true story. if you see any rubber ducks washed up grab them at once - they have been around the world several times and are now worth £500 each to collectors.

they are expected to be washed up on Western Coasts during the summer - they were in a container that went overboard in the Pacific in 1992. They are bleached white by the sun now.

How amazing is that! I think that's a really good story, I wonder if Spirit is still floating about?

I remember reading about that a couple of years after it happened.

More on this one:

http://www.rubaduck.com/rubber_duck_..._the_world.htm

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main...ixnewstop.html

Unfortunately, most of the articles I can find are from 2003.

There were also similar incidents with Nike shoes, Doritos (the tortilla chips) and a load of hockey equipment.
