VOIP business phones

Does anyone use one? I'm looking for a simple three phone system and |I have been looking at Gradwell, Voipfone and VoiceHost.

Looking for any general comments and specific feedback on any of the above - or someone better?

Thanks!

Hi

I use VOIPhone for business voice and fax lines over my not that fast internet connection.

Excellent customer service - get to speak to real people who know what they are on about, price very good. Good choice of local exchange numbers so looks like a "normal" lien and doesn't cost your callers any more.

Rather than use on of their phones I use a VOIP adaptor box that means you can plug in any standard phone. Approx £30 last time I looked on Ebay.

Very flexible service - sends voicemails to my smart phone as sound files at no extra cost, so looks like you are in the office when you can be anywhere.

Also has a great facility to put unsolicited callers on a comedy hold service by pressing ##16#

Happy to take a test call if you like 01856 898098

Their outgoing call rates are not that cheap, so I make outgoing calls on the home line that has unlimited (up to one hour at a time) calls, and just withhold the number so work people don't call back on the home phone.

And far far cheaper and better than an extra BT line

Hope this helps

Best wishes

Steve

I have used Voipfone for my business landline for about 5 years now. I mainly use is for incoming calls and voicemail (I use the mobile for outgoing calls as I have lots of included minutes). It seems to work very well. I have the grandstream handsets which seem ok, but they do need rebooting (turn off & on) once a week as if they are left on indefinitely they sometimes loose connection with the Voipfone servers. I really like the fact that voicemail messages get emailed to my mobile.

If you have any specific questions PM me. No connection with Voipfone other than a satisfied customer.

I am just about to install a Draytek VoIP system in customers not expensive at the entry level for a pbx, with lots of nice features!

They do lines via Draytel

I've set-up Gradwell for 2 other Business's, great service very cost affective, I would recommend Gradwell. The Snom IP Phones are supposed to be very good and also have an Outlook API for screen pops on incoming calls.
