The most optimistic e-bay description I've seen this year

Check this out and form an orderly queue...

Might not be such a 'rum do' for trade glassers ... That boat must be worth £200k plus fully fitted, assuming internals are restorable .

Bavaria of that vintage are the Bayliners of the yachting world, cheaply built.

Second hand values are pretty low.

Typically £60k - £80k

New keel £10k
Glass repairs £20k
Rudder £2k
Engine repairs?
Electrical system repairs?
Joinery doesn't look too bad (from the photos)

Looking at £50k at least to put it back on the water.

That's how they got to the £15k asking price.

Bring it to henshaws and get them to tube it then you would not need to fix the hole in the hull.

tbh, Bavarias are the Robin Reliant of the sailing world when brand new; bad enough when tied up safely in a marina but truly a bag of sh1te when underway.

If anyone desperately needs a VAT invoice for £15k just let me know and you can have one from me without the additional aggravation of a knackered Bavaria...
