Stu (Rogue Wave) and an Icom Pen...

Now, most people on this forum have caught up with the fact that Stu and Icom, for whatever reason, don't seem to get on. Things have calmed down on that front, and Stu says he is all about second chances these days.

With this in mind, when having a chat with the Rouge one, he asked for a pen and paper. Paper supplied, I had a rummage in the car for a pen. I found 2, a freebie from Glaxo, and lo and behold, a rather nice black and red icom pen. Thinking about gaining some small amusement, I proudly presented stu with he icom pen, saying I knew it was his favourite.

His response was "I'll have the other one thanks, I bet the icom runs out halfway down the page". While stu was busy writing on his bit of paper, I starting writing with mine. You know what? The bloody icom pen ran out!

Jon, I will be calling in on you at the boat show, as my pen is less than a year old, and I would like it replaced under warranty to save me suffering from more embarrasment, especially having convinved Stu that icoms were actually quite good!

Thank you for the feed back Jim!!!
This is what happen when you re-badge someone elses goods!
QA just not as good as our own.

Rumour has it that Rouge might be falling out with another radio company soon too!

By the way really nice to meet Jasper at the show.

Regards

Do I detect a bit of salesman back-pedalling here at all?
