Right back to the thread .
To say that the Ship was one of the war time built liberty ones it just goes to show how long she has lasted to say they were built and launched within weeks of the keel being laid and were to only last for a short number of years rather than decades,

i know she is broken into a few sections but to say she is on a sand bank with tides running across her she,s not doing bad and must be a credit to the builders ,

we had a number of the old ww2 Liberty ships towed from the States a few years back to be scrapped at the Greythorpe yard just across the river from our boat club at Teesmouth,the controversal (ghost ship fleet )
