Pubs etc near EXCEL

I've got three days stuck on an exhibition stand in EXCEL and wondered if any of you who've worked London Boat Show could recommend any pubs/bars/places to eat in the vicinity of EXCEL.

Thanks in advance

Since no-one else has responded..........

Me and two chaps were working on a boat round there. Having got rather hammered in the City Airport Travel-lodge bar, we were in the need of food. We couldn't find anywhere nearby (in our rather brief search) so got the train into central London. A very jolly/expensive/drunken evening was had by all. A tip though, the DLR stops running to the station nearest Excel (cant remember what its called) at 12 I think. As such we had to walk miles to get home.

If you like your steak, Gouchos by the river at Canary Wharf is excellent.

Thanks to those who offered advice.

Also found a reasonable chinese (Ho Lee) not far from All Saints station. Although it was in a very unremarkable row of shops the food was good, tasty, and well presented whilst also being reasonable good value.
