I love Laphroaig too...don't agree with the creosote comments, but each to their own tastebuds. Maybe I should save some pennies and try the Lore against the Ardberg Corryveckin.

After a couple of measures I'm at currently a 50 /50 Corry / water mix to savour the complexity this whisky. Nice to have a drink that's different and requires appreciation.

Good that you've found another whisky that you can appreciate. The problem I have is that there are so many good whiskies to try, but try I must
