Rare find of 1920's St Kilda pictures found deep in the archives of Glasgow University...

Fascinating stuff!
Not so long ago either,when you think about it.
Looking to get there next year and have a look for myself.....although we do have a few "Modern Primitives" this way too!

No, I don't put down ANY dogs and I don't think the St Kildans had a lot of choice. Still, live is hard and in another six months or so, donegaldan might be eating husky pup soup like his forebear - Tom Crean, so I'll say no more
