vehicle towing ability becomes irrelevant when you are stuck in a 3 mile queue behind a caravan that hits the dizzy heights of 40 on the straights ......

Slow traffic aside, have a safe trip & fab ribbing!

PS Best check the Rest & be Thankful is actually having an open day that day! (There were works on the A82 North of Tarbert 2 weeks ago as well, so the detour might also be a nightmare...)

Naw they only shut the Rest road during the week, always seems to manage to stay open at the weekend for the tourists. Girl at work who lives at Loch Fyne going crazy last time it shut, apparently because the road was wet ). Hillside only started slipping after they cut the trees down. Engineers should get their jotters, just employ a bloke with a shovel and some sapplings, soon be sorted.

Anyway 2 hours ago it was pissing it down at Loch Lomond, enjoy the trip and don't wreck the Barn Bar I'm staying up there at Hogmany.

Back from Oban for me and what a Fantastic time my family had both on the water and off bouncer went well once I had bypassed one of the fuel filters that seems to have split
Staffa was a good sight as well as the seals and Basking sharks
And as for the night time drinking sessions well I will leave that to the imagination
