Excellent, thanks John. I will have a look to see what I can do about that I still need to tidy up the last page anyway... I should be getting an IPhone soon, so I may start looking to write software for them... so might actually make it into a full application..... if I can find tidal data somewhere!

Until the data comes back into the public domain again it's going to be expensive (or tricky!) to get anything other than the current week. It looks like there has been some progress with other data but the UKHO seem to be digging their heels in.

John - these people provide data for the next 28 days, and the harmonic constants (so you could work out longer if you were so inclined).

I'm not sure on the license constraints (presumably charging for the data would not be acceptable).

It's working on my phone now! Ta much.

Boatie a app I use but costs £2.99

free TideApp this uses the pol data set.

If you google. Xtides Linux server and jtides will give you the pc data.
