Lightening Strike

Mrs M has just spotted that one of our upstairs windows must've been open during the lightening storm last week. It's been hit on the inside. It looks as if a white hot poker has been slashed across the timber work. The burnt grooves are 8-9mm deep. :-/

Could be a warning message, bit of divine retribution maybe

As it happens, I did partake of the old bread and wine this morning for the first time in years. So I'm currently all good with the man upstairs, hopefully. :-/

That's been done, back on tues for the knot tying and then up to fowey for the nosh up. Handy having the church and reception venue 30m apart. There was talk of going up by sea, as it happens, it looks as if the weather gods will be smiling. Had lunch with the texans today at mylor. One of the Texan daughters who is 15, looked up from her meal as one of her schoolmates walked in. How mad is that? ;-)

I wonder what the chap on the vid clip is thinking ?

Not once but twice and he gets up a second time and walks off down the road. Id be thinking why not three times and probably not walk off so calmly.

I suspect he wasn't thinking at all, if it was me I'd have been running and not in a straight line, (not that it would help, but I'd feel like I was at least trying not to get hit again lol).
