The leaking oil just ensures it always has clean oil in as you have to keep topping it up.
Have you had the timing belt done, if not get the water pump replaced at the same time.

Is our disco a tdi or v8?
I had a v8 rangie classic soft dash. it was ace.
they do leak a fair bit.
untill you rebuild them that is.
