Jerry Cans

Right, in bygone days when I used to work for Her Majesty we used to use jerry cans to run small generators etc. The genny would have an extra jerry can lid with a fuel take off connection (similar to the quick silver red can connector) which clipped on a standard jerry can and had 2 foot of rubber pipe to reach the bottom of the can. Does anyone know were I can buy the extra gerry can lid fitted with a fuel connector?

I have pouring tubes for gerry cans but not a take off lid.

Plan B involves scrapping a spare tank and some metal work and probably Farehams best fitter turner

Pete,

Try Silvermans but site is down at the moment.

http://www.silvermans.co.uk/

One of these sites will be able to help you i'm sure.

Closer to you a company advertises in your local rag as the Largest Ex Military sales in the South. They don't have a web site but I've visited them, they have tons of kit and like to help.

It seems like they are stuck in a time warp, all left the army in the 80's, still wear the kit, but look older, fatter and balder.
