its windy out here

just climbed down out the derrick ....89knots on the wind guage gusting 95knots ....getting rough for working in .....10metre seas ....whats it like in central scotland?

seen 110knots before but this wind feels stronger

I was up changing the nav lights when i took this picture .....200ft to helideck + 200ft to top of derrick ....that was 13knots the day i took it but still sways about 2-3 feet up that height .....amazing how you can hold onto things with your arse cheeks and legs ......did a electrical inspection on top of chigaco sears tower ariel a few years ago ...i'll see if i can find the pics

Yes please. I have a perfectly logical fear of heights - if I am attached to a secure point I am fine - doesn't matter how high I am - but forget even standing on the edge of a harbour wall with no railings and no rope!!!
