I'm on the scrounge.........

......for one of those sticky pads you get when you but a car/dash mounting kit from a Garmin 76 handheld gps. You get two in the box, I've used one and can't find the other. If anyone has a spare one I'll trade you for something nice (I work for a fragrance manufacturer)! Or, I'll just but it from you, your choice, £1.00 or a £20 bottle of nice smelly stuff.

Fingers crossed x

MeMe

Do you mean those foamy things with an adhesive layer on each side, which stick to your fingers and little else?

If you do.. Check out your local ironmongers/DIY store. They come in different sizes for sticking things like mirrors to wall etc. They are not exclusive to Garmin.

Damn, there goes my missus' christmas present.

You can buy them all over the place. (They're called sticky fixers)

Alternatively, I can you send you one in exchange for a £20 bottle of fragrance!!

Don't know if this will be any good to you
but Halfords do a extra strong strip of sticky backed velcro you can cut to size WAFI'S use them to keep the laptops stuck to the chart table and stick the Hand held GPS near to the helm position for the smaller keel boats

Thanks, however........

It couple mean two gifts.......

Actually, I tell a lie.........

..........as I went on the Garmin site asked where to buy them. Whilst awaiting a reply I found globalpositioningsystems web page and ordered one there. About an hour later I received an email from Garmin advising that they would pop a pad in the post to me - FOC - What nice folk. When the other arrives from GPS I'll send it back.

Aren't those people at Garmin nice ?
