Fathers Day

Thanks chap. These sorts of days never really used to mean much to me, but seeing my two lads grinning handing over chocolates was a bit special - or is it just the thought of eating myself sick

I got up early to deliver a clients boat this morning, then straight on to Lifeboat Drill to play with the capsize boat.....that was followed immediately by a shout.....When I eventually got home I was greeted by my 2 year old son who had made me a picture frame out of coloured lollipop sticks with a picture of him in it....and then found that my 3 week old daughter bought me a bottle of Bowmore Islay....growing up isn't so bad

In my limited experience they seem to be born with an innate understanding of what malts Dad likes for special occasions....Where they are finding the money /getting served is more of a mystery

True story.

Daughters, one 15, a school pal of my daughter and another 13.
Son, 16, slightly off the wall and in my son's year.

Dad, a senior partner with a law firm, comes down to the brekky table on F's day morn. "Ok, kids, so where are my prezzies?"

Daughter's ignore him and delve into the cornflakes.

Son looks up and says "I ordered one last week from 'Couldn't give a shit .com'. "

Tickled me.
