Good memories, Johnny Cash

Just watched a 2 hour tv show on country music classics. First time I heard this was at the Silver Fern in Warsash in the early 70's. Just thought I would share.

Yup, things were a lot more relaxed then. Did not mean to bore anyone but I am a huge Johnny Cash fan, probably very rare in the UK. Incidently the three top voted classic artists on the TV show: Willie Nelson, Ray Charles and Jonny Cash. In that order. However it was kind of screwed up because they did not know how to rank the duet with RC and WN, singing " 7 Spanish Angles"

Troubled today? Ever heard of the Red Brigade - IRA - PLO - Bader Meinhof - KGB - Vietnam War???

The difference was of course that people just got on with their lives and didn't make a huge song and dance about it and the governments and media of the day weren't interested in keeping us in a constant state of terror so that they could nanny every part of our lives so yes they were much happier times!!!
