The BMW is way too tail happy - looks cool but NOT the fastest way to go around corners!!!

Having said that it is well balanced - the best cars for drifting sideways are ones with quite a long chassis with the engine at the front and drive at the back.

To see a truly great handling car look at Caterhams and Westfields etc based on the Lotus 7. I saw a video recently where a Westfield kept pulling away from a racing motorbike around the Nubergring.

Couldn't find it now but did find this one - doesn't seem that fast until you see the way it passes all the bikes and 911s!!!
