They were getting stuffed. A show of good stuff to get it within a point. Still could be a 3.0 tour defeat. That's all that the history books will record. :-/

Well we can still hold our heads up by loosing by only one point. Our line was too tight at times as well but I agree with Mollers it won't make any difference in the record report, we have to win.

Results count for sure Guys!...
.But things are looking decent with just a few points separating us from the universally recognised Best team out there! And in they're own Back Yard!...NOT a common event..IMO as an England Supporter!...excellent for the World Cup build up..when WE'RE at Home! Although we're in a tough group!
...And there is always next week to look forward too...should be a half decent Game!

God it's sooooo boring.

Being trying to understand the first 20min of the England Italy game

Wy do people watch it?????

......have balll....wander forward 2 paces....kick it back 20' ...wander on 5 paces, kick forward it, kick it backwards/ into touch, kick it sideways ..walk on.... don't challlenge ...sort of cover the person until they kick it backwards.....Oh fall over dramatically because I've been challenged....Argue with ref That would be instant red card from me.

Compared to Rugby or hockey, or anyhing else - even cricket, (which I love) it's so dull. Can't get excited by the media frenzy at all.

What is the attraction?

Am I on my own in this view????

The golden nugget to come out of this tour, regardless of results, is the de-mystification of the ABs pre RWC. England have often gone wobbly kneed when put before them. France are historically, less overawed by the ABs than England, but then France can then lose the plot when faced with England.
