Engineering work experience wanted

Hi Guys

My son is studying at CEMAST in Lee on Solent and is looking for work experience to support his college course. The college has confirmed that any mechanical or electrical engineering environment counts — and I thought with being in Southampton, a boat or marine company would be a good fit!

We’re based in Sarisbury Green, so we’re ideally looking for something in or around Swanwick, Bursledon, or Warsash — somewhere within easy reach of the Hamble. If it’s somewhere he can easily get to by train that would be fine too.

If you know of a boatyard, marina, marine engineering firm, or any other boat-related business in the area that might be open to taking on a work experience student, we’d love to hear from you.
