We should not be surprised by this behaviour in the west country. Devon and Cornwall is almost entirely populated by inbreeds, bankrupts, hippies, and chefs. It starts getting wierd once your past Bristol, Somerset is highly strange and as I say once your past Exeter services all semblance of what we recognise as British civilisation is lost in a morass and mush of something akin to an 18th century novel. People wandering around in fish smelling rags muttering, with bits of pasty hanging out their mouths and the smell of cider on their breath."
