Completely natural. The island is a remnant of a Karstic limestone landscape and it tends to break up along lines. The pool is open to the sea underwater, as far as I recall.

Yep,totally natural and open to the sea.Seen it about 10 years ago,amazing place all that side of the island.

Amazingly symetrical rectangular natural pool...........but only 6m deep

Doesn't seem like much when your hutling towards it from a 26m height!

Respect is due to the very first person who one day thought "hey, wouldnt it be fun to jump down into that"....
