CE Certification

Looking for some help regarding boat CE Certification.

I have a friend with a 21ft imported small river boat that is going for sale shortly. The owner has mislaid papers in a house move.(in a box somewhere)
How can we get docs for this CE? or can you get this info from anywhere?

He may find docs in a box but trying to shortcut to get to the broker

Ta

Are the original docks received from the manufacturer or are they based on a CE "survey"?
Is it private import or through a official importer?

Thats a good question , not sure yet the boat is one of these C-Marine, C-Marine Classy Range, C-Marine Classy 21 for sale, Boats for sale, Used boat sales - Apollo Duck

Following on this is a Turkish build by the looks of it Deniz Yatcilik
It was sold from Hampshire and we will try to contact the original seller to see if they keep docs but I believe they may not sell them anymore

Assume this boat does not have the CE plate? Generally speaking it is usually easier to get the papers retroactive if it has been a official/commercial import. For private/grey import the paperwork is kind of unit specified, thus can be tricky to get retroactive papers for free...I would search for the box....

If the boat has originally been made for EU market, the Turkish manufacturer may send the paperwork against a HIN number, can be worth trying.
