There is no cannibal rat ship:

According to some sources, the ship is infested with “cannibal rats.” But this is more theory than fact, as no one has been on the ship in a year. The cannibal rat theory comes from Pim De Rhoodes, a Belgian salvage hunter, who told tabloid The Sun, “There will be a lot of rats and they eat each other. If I get aboard I’ll have to lace everywhere with poison.” De Rhoodes has no actual information about whether there are rats on the boat, or whether they’re diseased, cannibalistic or perfectly civilized.

According to the BBC, the ship has yet to be sighted off English waters. The Irish Coast Guard isn’t worried, nor is the U.K. Maritime and Coastguard Agency. You can see map of sightings, as well as the ship’s deck plan, and there are shirts and mugs on offer for the most intrepid Orlova hunters.

They also think her current scrap value is 1.1 million USD..... So think they may have been looking for it

The rats will all be dead by now, IF it's still afloat... They eat their own young if starving, so the likelihood of them managing to breed is slim-and it's unlikely any of them, if starving will be in any condition to breed anyway.

Confusing. You've made the above statement and then pasted a long piece pretty much suggesting that she is out there. Also, 1.1m USD maybe her scrap value at a yard. No way would that justify an extensive Atlantic sea search or even mid-Atlantic tow if anyone knew where she were.

Mollers - didn't mean to be confusing, the whole thing was a quote - off on of many internet articles - sorry couldn't quote wrap as was on my ipad.

The Coastguard believes a ghost ship carrying disease-ridden rats has sunk in the Atlantic.
The empty Lyubov Orlova cruise liner, which has been drifting across the North Atlantic for almost a year after drifting loose in a storm, was thought to be heading for Ireland.
The Irish Coastguard teamed up with the satellite tracking company and spent two months trying to locate the 100-metre vessel.
However Chris Reynolds of the Irish Coastguard said his theory is that the ship sank somewhere in the Atlantic, thanks to hurricanes Sandy and Catherine.
He conceded though that: "We can't prove that."
This morning, psychic Uri Geller said he will help to find the ship, which has been valued at around €1m.
