hi, if anyone is looking for a good income for not a lot of work then in the next year or so I am looking at selling a rental villa here in Spain (3 bed, 2 bath, huge garden, private heated pool, air con, english tv). The economics are good - it lets for 32-35 weeks per year (5 years experience & accounts), probably more if pushed, services the finance costs & gives you a cracking holiday home when not let.
Cost will be c 250 k GBP but I am in no hurry, only reason for sale is that we are planning to relocate to New Zealand & itīs a bit far to clean the pool! Also available at market price is a 3 bed flat in nearby town which you can live in when renting the villa.
Seriously, 30% of clients are return visits, never taken a security deposit & never needed to. All payments in advance so no chasing debt, can be run under management if not resident in Spain. May even throw in my RIB to the right buyer.
No tyre kickers or dreamers, I have a pool round too which may be up for grabs. Only 2 mornings per week tops & earnings above Uk avg salary for the whole package.
Anyone seriously interested get in touch, I plan to put it with a business agent next year. It has served me so well but after 5 years we plan on moving on.
