One of the guys I know has the nick name whacker from his cricket days, his boat is called Whacking Off!!!....First time I heard him logging on with a radio call to marine rescue I had a little chuckle.

Marine rescue, this is "whacking off' whacking off" whacking off"

One in our marina called "Bob The Magnificent"...brilliant name.

We named a boat "Yeah Baby" many years ago....very amusing when we called the QHM in Portsmouth, and after a pause he had to reply "Yeah Baby this is QHM ...over"

My old formula 292 was called Distant Rumble.
So the yard nicknamed it Drunken Fumble
I then renamed it Formulator.
They nicknamed it Fornicator
I couldn’t win. Had to sell it.

Since my rib is bright red, after some drunken brainstorming with mates, the name "Cherry" was hit on.

As in, "Don't pop the cherry..."

Called the current rib "Voodoo" because we still had Voodoo jackets from a boat/missile we had several years ago (Ring 21C). Our big boat is called Savannah.
