Bicester Village - Musto & any others ?

Seeing a client close (ish) tomorrow ...apart from Musto any other shops worth looking in that a ribnobber may find handy ?

Is it even worth going in Musto ?

Musto do deals on some kit and cheaper than high street. Helly Hansen no longer there and. I don't recal a new sailing group maybe Henri Lloyd. They cater for a lot of overseas visitors, only go there if close by.

Bicester Village is really a fashion outlet, so could be perfect for you. I pass there pretty regularly (well twice a week!) and never fail to be disapointed every time I bother to stop. I went into the Musto shop just before Xmas and didn't see any waterproofs at all. Lots of fleeces and T-shirts etc but no rufty-tuffty, RIbnet float in the harbour in January, go to Weymouth in a Force 7, blat across the Solent in a small rubber dingy and an overpowered fibreglass motorcycle (I used to have one just joking) stuff at all.

Northface was out of everything I actually wanted. Henri Lloyd was a bit like Musto.

Still if Swindon are saying their boaty stuff is in Bicester (pretty much as far from the sea as you can get in the UK) then I might pop in for a look see.

Best go in the week as suggested above. The wet weather gear is right at the back of the store I got some fantastic deals for both me and then the Mrs on separate occasions. Make sure you barter they will give you big discounts on the already discounted gear.

There is also a sunglasses shop got a great pair of polarized shades which are great on the water

Picked a great set of offshore sallopets and racing vest for fourth squid a couple of years go. Normally go there an hour before closing then visit the pub on the way in. Don't go if you're not hungry!!
