thinking of going over to bembridge later this morning and haven't been before. Is there a decent beach you can land on or use there? Can you moor anywhere to get ashore? Thanks guys

Yes there is a good beach just to the right ( west ) of the entrance and also pontoon berths inside the harbour. Can't remember the cost. Restaurant on the beach and a pub 20 mins walk up a steepish hill up to the village green. You may need to delay your departure to allow sufficient water on arrival.
Have a nice day

We go into the harbour and on the left is where we beach, next to the sailing club. Google bembridge harbour and you'll find the info. Careful on a low spring tide entering the harbour as it's quite rocky.

A short walk over the sand, cross the road and you'll find the Pilot Boat, great pub and good food.

.... Beach is inside, this weekend you should be ok on all states of the tide

You'll see the visitor anchorage at the bottom of the photo

Only ever been on foot and not been 4 years. Most of it dries to mud/sand. There are beaches inside and outside the harbour. Depending on the sea etc outside can be quite surfy if I recall correctly.

Looks like parts of the channel are only 0.3m depth at LAT (near bouy 11) (not sure what that is compared to chart datum but I did see something that said the channel is 0.2m above datum). But Low tide this morning is around now is at least 0.6m. So you'd have at least 80cm from now.... with over a metre at lunch time

I gather it doesn't use a normal tidal curve.
