Bank Holiday Numpties!

Here's one! I bet his ear drums are ringing after getting 6 blasts from the cruise ship at close range

I doubt he even knows what it means.

'Doesn't apply to people like us' etc.

Don't get me started....

Heres a couple pictures taken by some of our tug crews over the last few days...

The first two are of a small dory type boat stopped, fishing with the engine off directly in the channel just off the tanker berth.. He diced to flas up his outboard and move out of the way at the very last minute forcing the tugs and tanker to attempt an aggressive stop manoeuvre.

The second pic is of two ribs who decided to cut up the inside of the arriving vessel (instead of giving it a wide berth and heading up the outside) clearly violating the 140m exclusion zone around the terminal!

This is only a snap shot from a very short space of time and in one particular area. It was also relying on someone on the tugs having a phone/camera available at the time.

But hey, we don't need any kind of mandatory basic training do we?

Simon

Quickly learnt the rest of it, with some very choice words from above - we were that close-of might has right and restricted movement...............

No they are already breaking harbour byelaws etc so they just need prosecuting.

However the sun is out - and so you really shouldn't be working - can you not just move the oil around on the dull days?
