Bad weather - Jet streams

The picture shows the North Atlantic Jet streams today, we track these daily.
The brightly coloured area would "normally" be about 1000 miles further North (North of the Shetlands) and is the main reason we have had so many low pressure systems over the last few months.
I have had enough now, can someone please put them back ....

They will be put back, right in time for winter! ... I'm starting to think if it might be better to go with the flow. April has been nice for years, now it's moving to March. September has too and that's moving to October. The summer is always shite.... my god I'm so British

I don't want to talk about it, it's so bloody annoying. This will be the 4th wash-out on the bounce.

Mate I had my holiday in Helford in may. I blew so much money on it and spent most of the week watching my boat get thrown about at it's mooring. Not happy

Gits. Well we were in drought, now we aren't and us southerners that post on here are better equipped than most to cope with the potential floods... in fact it could be an opportunity to provide navigational hazards to the admiralty on housing estates £££

Not sure where 250 gets them but I've found this one useful
Forecast charts
it give a forecast going out two weeks in 3 hr steps and it animates for those of us that like pretty pictures.

Looks like the Jet stream isn't going north in a hurry.

I was thinking that - but I think we have lower expectations! There's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes!

You're spot on. I remember often thinking "Damn, I have the wrong coat with me today!"
Still, blue skies again this morning, although it's cool. Actually, it's very like summer in Iceland.
