Ideal.
Backpacked the whole of the Cote d'azur with a pal in my early 20s. Wearing a rucksack in places like St.Trop, Monaco and Cannes back then was akin to turning up wearing another head!  Had some made times though, good fun.

I'm off to Peisey Vallandry on Boxing Day. They have snow above here in Les Arc but its not great. Looks like more snow coming though and at least very cold temps so they can continue to make snow with the cannons. Fingers crossed for more snow, theres no way I'd cancel when I can ski at least a little.

Got back from les deux Alps yesterday. Had good snow although none in resort. Mostly on the glacier. A lot of resorts have nothing in France
