any paddlesports instructors on here?

Especially those with experience taking beginners / children's groups? I need to know whether I am being unreasonable / unrealistic in my expectations. Don't want to slag the organisation in public before I know the score so if anyone has five minutes to answer a few questions can you PM me....

I am an active paddler and paddle coach with many years doing it for fun and many years with a number of companies, teaching paddling. I have worked more than a few seasons at different kids multi-activity centers. Any help I can give?
