If you look at the first two photos you can see how much the archway has buckled upwards due to the collision.

I know, it was a joke I can't imagine the local authorities were too happy as that bridge looks quite old and would almost certainly be a listed structure. He probably didn't realise he wasn't going to make it until it was too late. I've almost done the same thing myself as it happens (although under a different bridge).

I've got a video of the same thing happening under Hammersmith bridge. They shut the bridge for about a week to make sure it was safe. I should send it into you've been framed, got to be worth £250!
