They're nearer than you realise!
He has another video about sharking on his website - 'Totally Awesome Fishing'. Blue sharks & he's not that far from the Manacle buoy - on the landward side which came as something of a surprise to me!
Could be worth a try - but be careful that one doesn't end up hanging by its teeth off the side of a boat as seen in the video at 9:44

I have to say, that looks like a good day out. I've seen some net caught Portbeagles but that looks much more fun. It's a pity the blues are not an eating shark.
