Windermere Feb 5th

Just to update those who expressed an interest in joining up on the lake!
The Wirral bunch met last night and decided that costs had gone through the roof Boat registration, launch fee and parking costs meant is was going to cost £70 just to get on the water. For some reason, all the hotels we looked at wouldn't accept a one night booking, insisting an a two night minimum
So....Cumbria you can *!#*+#!x (say bye bye to our dosh) and we will enjoy a weekend in our favourite Welsh bay in the not too distant future.
Will keep you posted me me jono ian dave and all.

Cardigan Bay, more specifically the Abersoch bit!

However....on the 12th Feb. there's a rib rally setting off from West Kirby slip (Wirral) following the bore to Chester, over the weir, into the pub and back again before we get left high and dry. Good fun, good company worth trying out.
10.00am on slip for tow out amd launch 10.30ish. High water 13.30 (10mtrs)which should give us a good hour and a half to explore up river, pub lunch, retail therapy or whatever grabs your fancy.
