Never been to Poole. Fancy coming along if you (and / or one of your fleet!) is free??

Would love to offer anyone a lift if they want to come. Aim to leave Lym at civilised time - 9.30ish? Aim to be at Poole for early lunch. Then a bit of Dorest coastline exploration. Back prob early evening to Poole. All depends on weather.

Solent Thursday

Bruce
I would love to come with you, but try as I might, cannot think of a plausible excuse to not go to work tomorrow.
Unfortunately, can't make this weekend either, 15 yr old son nagging to go to Goodwood Festival of Speed....
I will keep an eye on your postings to see when you are out next, and try and hook up with you soon.

The Irish got lost. They turned left rather than right. Or so a bird told me.

Can't wait for your return Bruce...and to hear that it was a wonderful day out for you with everything going perfectly!!!!

The Solent was at its brilliant best tonight...silky blue...we had a lovely BBQ on a quiet beach with some cool peeps..even the gathering warships bristling at their moorings could not spoil the tranquillity of the sunset voyage home.

Hope all was brill for you & crew too Bruce

No, Bruce's book on the Dorset Coast advised there was debris on the bottom which moves with the waves....
