Take 2: Yarmouth and The Needles - An Evening Blast!

Anybody fancy a mini cruise to yarmouth and needles this friday? The weather looks considerably better than it was last friday.

Volvo Ocean Race

We are planning to go out on Friday to watch the start of Leg 8 of the Volvo Ocean Race. The boats are going out of the Solent via the Needles.

What time are the boats starting leg 8 and likely to be going past the Needles?

This weekend is old gaffers weekend in yarmouth. Well worth you chaps coming down as it will be really lively with live bands, street entertainment and lots and lots of beer.

The down side is that the habour will be packed and so will the pubs so you will need to book!! Probably not much chance of eating, you will have to book asap.

I'll be out friday and saturday moistening my gullet
