Swansea to Lundy Island
A couple of us are going over to Lundy Island on Sat 2nd August on our Ribs and we were wondering if anyone else would like to join us.
We have been everywhere on the rib but feel a little more adventurous this time J. We plan to get to Lundy for the high tide which is about 10:15am to do a little exploring of this beautiful place and then moor up on the visitor boys and go exploring on the island.
We plan to camp for the night before returning home the next morning, but there are plenty of B&B's on the island if camping isn’t your thing, although some would argue camping is positively luxury compared to ribbing lol, at least you can make a cuppa!
There is also a pub on the island which we will most definitely be attending J.
Its approx 65 nautical miles round trip depending from where you launch in Swansea, I will be launching from Mumbles and a friend who I met here on rib.net Henry is launching from Oxwich so we will meet up on route.
Obviously weather dependent on the day, but I am praying for sunshine.
All ages and rib types welcome, were in no mega rush, be nice to have a group of ribs going over and makes for good banter when were there.
If anyone has been there before and can offer any helpful advice that would also be appreciated.
