Tides require my return to base by 4.00pm. That probably rules out the Folly but I could possibly manage Yarmouth for lunch if 'Moderate' then 'Smooth' means moderate then smooth!

Sea state is currently very smooth at Branksome. Sorry but can't make it today. Might nip round the harbour to blow the cobwebs away this morning.

David that doesn't sound like you! Have last year's experiences taken their toll?

RIBase
You lot are making me envious

Still, I'll be back on the water soon. Heading down to Biff's tomorrow to see if we can get that sparkly new silver Honda bolted onto Tigga's transom

The forecast was 100% correct and the Solent was at its best. Lunch at the Folly
Hard to believe that strong winds are expected tomorrow

Good to see Andre at the folly. Smooth trip to and fro from Chichester.
Hope the weather holds now and roll on spring. Put the new Gekkos to the test today - kids felt they were cool , and with them on couldn't hear them groaning when we went a bit quick.
44 knots today - 5800 rpm on the Suzi 300

Sent from my iPad using Rib.net

That's odd....I bolted it on the back of streaker today....the silver matches my hair better than the yam grey.

At least three of us out at more or less the same time and none of us saw each other. I wandered up to the Quay then out of the harbour and up to Branksome Beach - fabulous conditions and it did blow the cobweb away
