Didn't see it clashing as your original dates were different.
Apologies
I don't take it personally. And remember i've not said i'm coming yet. I also need to remember not to forget, if you C what i mean. So what's the incentive to a 500mile round trip with a slow old range rover and a large yellow trailer.

Incidently, with my new 'happymax' the cost of concern is now towing the boat somewhere rather than the actual fuel the boat uses - how nice is that? (What i am trying to say is with grayswish it would easily cost more for a day on the water than to tow from Margate to Portsmouth)

Hope you can make it robin, would be nice to see a new face, some of the old faces are not that nice to look at (Mrs Jackeen and Louise excluded of course )

Sounds like you're becoming a definite very quickly!

See you there, with or without new RIB. (RIB pic in the gallery looks good BTW!)

Hope you get as much enjoyment out of your 4.8 as I did out of mine but, beware, you will want a 5.85 within 18 months

Thanks, I am looking forward to getting out on the water again.
The weather pundits are predicting a hot summer again this year. So the solent will be seeing lot of me and Tifino.
Mind you, i dont really need a hot summer to get out on the water!

Robin, happy birthday!

You're 46, retired, and you've just bought a new RIB.

We need to have a chat

We have a moggy who asks for breakfast to be served at 06:30 every day - damned cheek!

Not out today unfortunately, chores and all that to do - lack of motivation really! But looking forward to the 21st.

Planning the Solent Pootle for the 20th Richard..we're not 100% sure about Ian's boat yet (& he's away in Wales at the moment) but hoping most peeps who can make it will go out on the Saturday. Mentioned 21st only to make allowances for weather...
But we were expecting you & Louise on Sat.??? Sofa booked out to you & all that...

Hmm. As I no longer have any faith in the booking arrangements at the ol' shebeen/chez Jackeen, having been told variously that we will be allocated a sofa, a bed or the doorstep, I have taken the precaution of purchasing an inflatable mattress (without strategically placed holes Mr F) so beds/sofas no longer required - just a king-sized spot of floorspace please. Ta!

Lord Preserve Me...

I don't like to go into details about the shebeen on air...suffice it to say we're putting the sheep out as usual and your USUAL ROOM is booked since our initial discussion (Before Boatmad....died!!!!)...

Ian & Debs also asked us ages ago & we'll fit them in also...
Mind you they may feel at home with the sheep...

Missus (Feeling like everyone's bloody mum at the moment )

Louise was being serious about the blow-up mattress so if Ian & Debs have a first dibs on the guest room we'll bring it along & bed down somewhere on the ground floor.

Stikes me that said moggy needs a little bit of extra "training". According to "the management" they can quite happily go 24h without food so I don't think an extra hour on Sunday will kill it
