there does not seem to be much arranged in the solent area unless it is all arranged away off of ribnet. is there much interest in regular get together in the solent area for cruises?

my thinking was that there are probably a lot of folks on the south coast that know each other anyway and just arrange their own trips but it would be good to get a few cruises and meets going, with details posted on here, if some can be children friendly as many of us have kids and young kids that want to join in.

I have had some great times with the the sw ribbers and they are always arranging meets and bbqs on the beach etc so perhaps it would be good to do that in the solent area as well.

off to pwilly this weekend, shame you have had to pull out of that, but will be good to meet up at some other time in the near future.

There was quite a few evening blasts last year, going up to the folly or yarmouth.

Ive been over quite a few times, but would be good to get more company going

Maybe it'd be worth putting a cruise posting in for a few weeknds time or something? Maybe an around the island cruise, or down to poole or similar..

There hasnt been anything much on here since the winter. Would be good to have another "big" cruise like the one at the end of last summer....

i would agree with that tim plus it would be good to have something going on weekly or every couple of weeks, i am sure with the number of folks in the solent this would be very do-able, at least folks could join in with something

i will be doing a planning session this weekend for our particular availablity as we are planning on a few jaunts over the next couple of months around the country and post some threads to see if others are up for meets and cruises

End of summer cruise

An end of summer solent cruise would be excellent. How about the end of Aug?

Yep,
I was thinking that there's not a lot of Ribnet organised activity in the Solent. Diary permitting, count me in.
