I love my new pink shirt

Yep, Brill time seem to be had by all!!!
The Ocean Youth Sailing Trust team from Belfast did a sterling job and we were on board Lord Rank today meeting some of the Team who work with youngsters to get them to experience working together under sail!!!

Fiona was delighted to meet some peeps from Donaghadee.

Yesterday we took Gerry (Director of Trust NI) and Ash out RIBbing and photographing boats. Then delivered them to Cowes while Enda the Chairman was making his way from Prague to the shebeen then to Cowes on board Zebedee.

Photos will follow. When we get some energy back

We had a little gathering this side too with Fiona and Pete 7, Cookee, Mark Halliday, Mark In., Antoinette and Martin and Enda dipping in and out!

Brilly weekend with brilly peeps. The shebeen was lit up last night

Very impressed with the kiddos from Dublin learning the ropes and the NI crew of Lord Rank.

Loadsa stories from the visitors, songs from Fi and details of Cookee's new leisure RIB.
And some rubbish pontoon work by me as I discover I don't like cable steering

Some big waves out there...you'd swear Enda had crossed the Atlantic again as he pulled into Portsmouth...

Ribald will explain by pm why we never made it to Starbucks but one of your crew may have tried to nick Enda as he stormed Pompey in Zebedee (From the West of Ireland...he ain't used to speed limits...)

It was good to meet and thank Cookee in person for all his help for the charity he is one person who realises that just because its not being talked about it doesnt mean that it doesnt still need help. The charity and Kathleen and myself are so very grateful for all your efforts cookee we said whilst on our adventure that if we can tell one person and help them to understand then we would be pleased, now look whats happened!!!

Great to meet Enda at last !!! And Gerry again and all the guys at OYT. We'll catch up in Belfast as promised.

a big giant thank you to my angel and paul for looking after me as usual!!

I will be here all day monday so I will try and catch up with some of those ive missed and then sadly i must depart....so once again thank you everyone K+P Pete7cookeemartinandantomarkhandmarkiendagerryasha ndoceanspearcaptain.

I don't think it can take any more

The noises coming out from it last night after the pressure exerted showed extreme stress on the structure and frame. There may even be spider cracks

We are considering having it tubed.

In which case it will be the best seat in the house. And will be reserved for storytellers from The Lower Bar

Presumably because we of the lower bar talk mainly rubbish

Spent today in a choppy solent lacking sleep but sustained by the vitamins in last nights coca cola replacement

Thanks again for the hospitality

Thanks Bogib. The Irish Sailyboat got all the way to the Solent in strong winds unscathed and then suffered damage while sailing in the Solent.

So the wavelets can be tough at times.

So glad your trip went well also.

I am glad I opted to stay sober and drive home going by the state of Paul in "Church" on Monday.
At least the Js made it, unlike the Magnificent Seven.

Shame I had to return to Devon but it was great to meet some new faces at last - especially Wi Fi! Not to mention Pete and Mark and to see the others again -

Mark - if you think Paul was still not very well on Monday night you should have seen him on Sunday morning!

Now who did I miss out?

Yes thanks Mark!

You should have been in Cardiff - they had a chocolate fountain in the restaurant!

Hi guys,

I have to say that was the worst hangover I've had in many many years . Haven't touched a drop all week. The memory of it is fading now so might try a wee dram this weekend .

Paul
