Round the Island Race - 01 June...

Hi all, I am sure lots of you are planning to be out and about watching this year’s Round the island Race on 01 June.

This year I am sailing rather than ribbing and actually I am after a favour from any Ribnet-ers who might be out and about watching the finish off Cowes. I am after a lift off our sailing boat at the finish (in the vicinity of Prince Consort) back into Cowes at around 1300 – of course more than willing to pay for the privilege…

Anyone planning to be out there and can help it would be much appreciated – thank you

Is anyone going to watch any of it - the usual places Hurst / Needles etc ?

Or does anyone want someone ( Ie me ) to drive a RIB for the day ?

I don't think I'll be out on the water watching, but if you don't find anyone else out there my RIB is moored in the Medina and it won't too much trouble just popping out and back

I may pop out to watch them go past Hurst Castle, however depends upon the weather as dont fancy the conditions the last two years have been which I did come out from Poole and faced rather challenging sea states ! Will have to see.
