bit more than that, caernarfon to Conwy then round the island will be closer to 100 miles, so you would need 150l plus some spare just in case

you should be fine with 175l, you could always top up at Conwy marina, there's fuel on the pontoon there we only used around 100l last year when it was a touch rough, but we didn't do the Conwy bit last year. morrisons in caernarfon has got a petrol station with room to get ribs in, or the texaco on the way out of caernarfon is just about ok but is a bit tight if you can't get on the outside pumps

Celtic Buffet all paid for! Ran the engine this weekend and gave it a mini-service. She started ok after a 6 month lay off, on the old plugs and with 6 month old fuel too. All we need now is to lay on some decent weather.

Oh, and get my trailer coupling put back together!

Pencil me in for the run if you don't mind. Tohatsu 6.1/mariner 125 hp. I'll be starting and finishing at Trearddur bay, leaving about 9 o clock and running down to caernarfon for the official start if anyone coming from our end give me a shout and run down together.

You won't be on your own with 30+ boats out with you! Going to be a great day, can't wait. Just need some sun to go with the pint and chips on the Conwy harbour front.

If your hand holding involves guidance straight in to reefs, I'll pass anyway.

With Rocky and Mr Smooth and over 30 others, we'll be fine!
